Q: What is Reel Kid's?
A: REEL KID'S showcases talent across the USA with a demo reel that you create to agents and managers online. We also hold monthly contests for best talent where you can win industry prizes! We want to provide opportunities to those who have always wanted to be involved with this industry but never had the connections or finances to pursue it. Reel Kid's gives you the opportunity to be seen and heard, from anywhere in the USA, to the best in the business through a professional online platform that is well respected and recognized in the industry.
Q: How do you have connections to agents and managers all over the USA?
A:REEL KID'S has teamed up with showbiz kids and teens. They have built relationships with top industry decision makers on a national level for over ten years and their reputation is impeccable where auditions for kids are available online. Without their connections it would be impossible for Reel Kid's to make an impact in the industry. Modeling agencies for kids, acting agencies for kids, singing agencies for kids and dancing agencies for kids will have access to your online demo reel!
Q: Why can’t I just create my own demo reel and put it on YouTube?
A: Sure you can but do you have the connections to get your reel in front of top industry decision makers like we can?
Q: Lots of times when I join these types of sites there are hidden fees. Are there any fees I will incur after I register?
A: Absolutely not! Your onetime fee of $99 will keep you active for one year on the agent/manager site and as a contender for our contest. You will also have access to our Talent Relations department for questions you may have regarding the industry.
Q: What if I have no experience in acting, modeling, singing, or dancing?
A: No problem! It's so easy! All you need is passion! We will provide you with a step by step guide on how to create your demo reel once you register.
Q: How old does my child need to be to join?
A: We recommend age 4 and up, however, we have met some superstars that were 3 years old!
Q: Reel Kid’s also includes a contest. Am I automatically entered when I join?
A: Yes it's part of the service that we offer. Each month a panel of judges will select a top talent. That talent will be featured on REEL KID'S homepage in our spotlight section and is eligible to win prizes.
Q: Why a demo reel? Can't I just send you a picture?
A: Demo reels capture your talent and personality. A photo just doesn't do that!
Can you imagine if Justin Bieber only sent his photo? His talent wouldn’t have been discovered!
Q: What happens when an agent is interested in me? How will I know?
A: REEL KID'S talent relations department will contact you if they are interested in your child with further instructions. They may have modeling jobs for kids or acting jobs for kids available. We will notify you.
Q: Do you guarantee jobs in the industry?
A: No, however, we do guarantee national exposure in the entertainment industry for one year. If someone EVER guarantees you work it’s a major red flag!
Q: Are you a talent agency?
A: No we are a not casting company or talent agency. Our concept is to help in the process for upcoming talent to market themselves on a private site to industry professional where they will have access to discover new talent 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
Q: Do I need to pay a professional to create a demo reel?
A: Absolutely not! The best video is that which is made in your natural environment which captures the true you.
